Why work on my intimate relationship in a group?

It's precisely in a group that something magical happens. You realize: we're not alone. Sharing—even if it's just by listening—brings recognition, normalizes doubts, and creates a safe space. Everyone stays in their own process; nothing is forced. But you feel: we're in this together. Your growth accelerates because of this. You realize you're not the only one who's running into problems here and there.

Can we also participate if we are in a relationship?

I encounter this question often, and I recognize it personally. You often feel like you have to be comfortable in your relationship to participate in a weekend or retreat. Yet, such a retreat is also intended for couples who are stuck in repetitive patterns that you can't break free from together. By being offered a new approach and immediately working on it together, you're invited to learn a new, healthier pattern.
So you are welcome with your stuff ;)
There is plenty of room for personal attention from me or my assistant.

Question 3

Do I have to be naked in the group room?

There are different retreats, so there are also different answers: – In the Make Love couples retreat , all exercises are with your own partner, in the group room. During massage exercises, you can be (partially) nude, but always with cloths to cover yourself. Massage is, of course, so much nicer on bare skin! It's often a process that becomes easier once you feel safe with each other. – In the Make Love weekend for women, most body-oriented exercises are on your own or in groups. For some touch or connection exercises, you can be partially nude, but that's not necessary. You can always cover yourself. – In the Make Love weekend for couples, only the lectures and Q&A are in the room. All body-oriented exercises are done in the privacy of your own hotel room with your partner. How naked you are there is up to you 😉

Is there sex in the group room?

Absolutely not. Sexual acts never take place in the group room. We work with touch, breath, and movement – in a safe environment, respecting everyone's boundaries. There's never a sexual atmosphere. Everything is about connecting with gentleness and presence. Sex can, of course, be a pleasurable result of the connection and love flowing through your bodies, but that's entirely up to you, in your own room!

Is there also time for free time?

Yes, consciously, even. Integrating, relaxing, and enjoying the surroundings together is essential. Many couples experience these free moments as a valuable extension of the retreat. It truly feels like a honeymoon together. And if you're a woman coming to the women's weekend: a mini-vacation for yourself, full of self-care.

Should I talk about my sex life?

Accepted Answer

That's welcome, but not required. There's room to share experiences if you'd like. But just listening is also healing. We respect everyone's comfort zone.

How old are the participants?

Accepted Answer

The ages vary. Many people are between 35 and 60, with some even higher and lower. What unites them isn't age, but a desire to explore new horizons.

Why is a retreat better than an online course?

Accepted Answer

Even though my online rituals are also body-oriented, it's harder to break out of patterns and you can still stay more in your head. On a retreat, you learn with your body. You literally step outside your daily routines. This way, you get to the core more quickly and experience immediate, experiential transformation.

Why a women-only retreat?

Accepted Answer

Women often carry deeply ingrained patterns of adapting, worrying, and performing—including in their sexuality. Sometimes it can be helpful to address this before coming to a retreat with your partner. And not every partner wants to come along, or perhaps you don't have a partner. In the women's group, we create a space where you release old tensions and rediscover your natural flow. You discover your truth, free from expectations or roles. We take the lead. Men follow—truly 😉.

Question 10

Should I also be intimate with others?

Accepted Answer

No. During the couples retreats, you are only intimate with your partner. During the women's weekend , most of the body-oriented exercises are with and on yourself. In some exercises, I invite you to do light touch or connection exercises in small groups with other women. But this is never sexual and always optional. You can also experience everything solo. Everything is an invitation. Nothing is obligatory.

Question 11

Is a beginner level expected?

Accepted Answer

No. Whether you've been together for years and are curious, or are at a crossroads in your relationship, everyone is welcome. Experience with bodywork or tantra isn't necessary. An open mind is.

Question 12

Should I socialize with others?

Accepted Answer

No, that's not necessary. Conversations often arise naturally during free time, but nothing is mandatory. Some couples/women consciously choose more privacy.
I always say: it's really not interesting to hear how many children someone has or what kind of work they do. If you do talk, let it be about intimacy. We can practice that too—you learn a lot from it.

Can I also come with a partner of opportunity?

Yes. If you're both committed to the process and can meet respectfully, you're very welcome. This applies to both romantic, casual couples and good friends.

When will you be there, or when can you?

Accepted Answer

Making love has no end point. Sexual and relationship growth is a journey. Sometimes it's smooth, sometimes it's stagnant. The retreats don't help you become "perfect," but rather to be present in every moment with what is. Many couples and women even return more often. You always discover something new. Making love is a continuous process of development.

Why are there different retreats and what are the differences?

Each retreat has its own theme and level of privacy: – Make Love Retreat for Couples : Intimate exercises in the group room, plenty of massage. My team and I will actively guide you and can easily assist you. – Make Love Weekend for Couples : For couples who want more privacy. You will do all exercises in your hotel room. You will only share the lectures and Q&As with other couples. – Make Love Weekend for Women : For women who can't get their partner on board, want to take steps on their own first, or want to deepen their experience without a partner. You will learn to take charge, including in sex. – Make Love Retreat for Women : The weekend, but with an extra day where we descend deeper into the pelvis. For the couples retreats : no meditation cushions or vegan-only food. Just a lovely country estate hotel with delicious food, chairs, and rooms with private bathrooms. The women's retreats are in a more spiritual setting, a very safe haven for so much femininity.

What do you learn?

COMMUNICATE – You learn a language to communicate with your partner what you like and don't like.
CONNECT – You learn to connect with yourself first, before you connect with your partner.
MASSAGE – You will learn an intuitive form of massage to turn on the flow of love in the body and open it up for surrender.
INSIGHT – You will gain new insights into female/male sexuality and about the body as a place to transform sexual energy.
RELAX – You will learn to relax around the themes of intimacy and sexuality.

What do I take home?

CONTACT – Better contact with your body and therefore more contact with your wishes and boundaries.
CONNECTION – A deeper, more vibrant connection with yourself and each other.
UNDERSTANDING – Greater understanding of how the masculine and feminine function and are equal yet different.
RELAXATION – Tips for enjoying intimacy in a relaxed way, even when time seems short.
HEALING – The ability to heal past traumas and fears related to sex and the body.

What is a retreat absolutely not?

SEXUAL – Sex can be a pleasurable consequence of your renewed connection, but it's never a goal in itself and always takes place in your bedroom. There will never be sexual acts in the group room.
INTIMATE WITH OTHERS – Everything is focused on connecting with yourself and, in a partner retreat, with your partner. You are not invited to switch partners.
MANDATORY PARTICIPATION – You're not forced to do anything; not to talk, not to do an exercise. And certainly not to do anything.
HARD WORK – A retreat is a gift to yourself (and your partner). It's a mini honeymoon with delicious food and drinks in a beautiful, natural, and peaceful setting. There's plenty of time for rest in between.

What does a retreat day look like?

A Love Retreat begins at the end of the day , with plenty of time to settle in. After arriving, you can settle in, enjoy a welcome dinner, and get acquainted with the venue and its atmosphere. The first evening is all about connecting with yourself —an essential step, as we often lose that connection as soon as we enter into a relationship with someone else.

In the morning , we always start with a dynamic meditation (pajamas are welcome) to get out of your head and into your body. After breakfast, we delve deeper into the theory of the day's theme. In the afternoon and evening , you'll have the opportunity to practice with the provided tools under supervision. This way, the theory and the emotional experience are combined.

In between, there's plenty of time to walk, rest, or simply be. Before the start of a program, you're always welcome to come to me with personal questions.

The final day focuses on integration: how do you take what you've felt, learned, and experienced with you? What does this mean for your life and your relationship? After lunch, we'll wrap up together, with tools to build on what's been created at home.

A retreat day is a gentle undulating flow between insight, experience, peace, and loving attention. A foundation for rekindling love —with yourself (and with each other).
